Stendal Plantation is located in a hilly terrain in an area where the Jutland ridge flattens out towards the former Alhede. The site is surrounded by forest.

Directions:
The site is located at Jagtjunkervej approx. 500 m west of the old forester's farm Stendalgård.
There are parking spaces at the entrances to the forest respectively south (Stendalvej) and east (Papsøvej) of Stendalgård.
In addition to the packed lunch house, there are 5 shelters on the site, barbecue, fire pit, mult toilet with changing area, tables/bench sets, water posts and horse riding on the site.
