Sommersted Mose is a lovely place where many anglers visit to try their luck. The bog was used for digging peat during the war, but is today a favorite excursion spot for the city's citizens.

The bog is also a splendid ice rink for both children and adults, if King Frost wants to freeze the water into ice.

The anglers try to catch pike, perch and whatever else is hiding in the depths of the bog. You are welcome to give it a try as well. Here, fishing is allowed all year round with lures, bait fish and worms.

It is forbidden to fish with roe, and you may only fish with 1 rod per person.

For the sake of birdlife, it is not allowed to fish from floats. Ice fishing is also prohibited.
